A new, ‘round-the-world ocean race starting and ending on San Francisco Bay.
WHY
Why not? San Francisco Bay is one the world’s most active sailing areas. sf2sf will be the first ‘round-the-world race starting and ending on the US West Coast. San Francisco is a major sailing destination dating back to the Gold Rush of the 1840’s.
WHO
In the California tradition, let’s bring sailboat racing back to the people! Rules will make it easier for a variety of entrants to participate. A Corinthian spirit will prevail.
WHERE
Start on San Francisco Bay, circumnavigate via the capes, finish on San Francisco Bay. Make stops if you wish - the clock keeps ticking.
